So, I don't know about you, but I love inspiration through music.
There are some lovely songs which can uplift you or inspire you to feel happy or get up and do what you have always wanted to do.
Music is such a big part my life, I don't just listen, I create.
It is my therapy, and helps me to cope with hard times.
Since breaking up from my college for the Christmas holiday, I have been rather down and sad purely because of some negativity I have experienced. However, i counted on music to help me feel more uplifted and inspired ready to start the lovely new year of 2014!
On Christmas morning I woke up, sat in bed and checked my phone.
I saw i had a notification from Facebook. It was actually a song my brother had posted on my Facebook and told me to listen to it. After I'd listened to it, I was in such a good mood! I felt I was ready to have a brilliant day. This song was called 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams :) I mean you can see by the title that this song is very inspiring!
If you are like me and you like inspiration through music, here is a list of songs you may enjoy which will certainly pick you up when you are "down in the dumps" as they say:
- A point i must say before you read this list is that I have very varied music taste! I am a lover of music in general and love many, many different types. Some of these songs i have just happened to come across through the years and others are songs by my favourite Arists/ Bands. I appreciate that not everyone likes all music, but do not judge a song by it's artist or the name of it or genre, at the end of the day, do not be ashamed of what music you like. If you like the song, that's all that matters! Enjoy this long list of inspirational goodness :)
