Time to change?

Recently I began feeling very down in the dumps!
I'm sure we've all been here at one point or another, am I right?
When this happens, we can begin to feel sorry for ourselves and do certain things like stay in, eat comfort foods and just avoid everything and everyone. Due to my anxiety, this seemed the easiest way to go about my days and by far the least scary.
Although a small amount of this can heal you, too much can begin to make things worse.
I began to get used to these routines of staying in and glaring at my television, to the point where I forgot to even take care of myself; However I came to the realisation that I was digging myself a deeper hole, therefore decided to pick myself up.

The way I helped myself out of my routines was to face the problems I feared the most, even when it seemed impossible.
Situations are guaranteed to be better than you think they will be. Therefore going forward and getting through these anxious thoughts is something you should do. Who knows, you could miss out on something huge if you constantly choose to avoid things.
I found that doing this made me a stronger and much more Independent individual, one of the reasons I started this blog.
Another idea that sparked to mind was to find myself big inspirations and role models to aspire to.
Doing this almost guided me to helping myself feel better in the way I acted and my appearance.
I went out and bought myself some new makeup, hair dye and clothes and began a fresh start.
I parted with some of my old ways of life and opened new doors which benefited me more.

I found a new happiness that had awoken in me whilst following my new path in life.
I hope all who fall can help pick themselves back up again like I did. There are always small slips along the way, but you must know that we all have the strength to stand tall and become the best version of ourselves.
Smile :)
